Swick Dynamics’ unmanned vertical monitoring system is operated by simply shutting down the mud pump for one minute, then starting the mud pump to retrieve the survey information. This is usually done automatically on a connection, costing the operator no rig time. Accurate surveys on demand – inclination, azimuth and tool face.
